On the EIZO I can see it flickering a little bit if I look close, but it's not distracting like on the Zowie. The one with horizontal lines is flickering really bad while scrolling because of this effect. On this site there is an image with 2 squares, one with vertical lines and one with horizontal lines. But now that these are available I want to replace the Zowie.Īnother problem that I have with the Zowie is when I scroll the text gets a bit thicker like it's bold. I really thought about returning it the first 2 weeks I had it and switch to IPS, but at that time I found no monitors with IPS 144Hz in that price range. If I have these settings disabled I would describe the image quality as "garbage". I have to use weird settings in Nvidia Control Panel color correction to make it look ok (Brightness 30%, Contrast 0%, Gamma 0.86). I like the EIZO but I was never really happy with the Zowie. Right now I have 2 monitors, the EIZO Foris FS2333 (Full HD IPS 60Hz gaming monitor that I bought 2013) and a BenQ Zowie XL2411P (Full HD TN 144Hz that I bought last year).

Did you do this inversion artifacts test? :

The 3 ones I found are AOC 24G2U, ASUS VG249Q and ASUS VG259Q.

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a Full HD IPS 144Hz 23-25" monitor.
